百年刻(Hyakunen no Toki)

Hyakunen no Toki (means 100 years ) uses the structural material of the old iron bridge for the iron, and the iron has a hole through which the rivet used to fix the iron bridge passes.

大鉋　Oo Ganna(Large Plane)

Large planes are manufactured from 10cm to 30cm.

It is a relatively small plane. We manufacture “知足 Chisoku”, “青壱 Aoichi”, and “百年刻 Hyakunen no Toki”.

槍鉋 Yari Ganna(Spear plane)

The spear plane is the oldest known excavated item from approx. A.D 0 , and it gradually disappeared after the plane was made in approx. 1400. The spear plane was only left in the literature and paintings, and its manufacturing method was lost for a long time, but Tsunekazu Nishioka, a palace carpenter dedicated to Horyuji Temple, investigated various materials and succeeded in restoring it at the end of the 20th century.

Knife

We manufacture knives by utilizing the technology of Echigo Yoita Uchihamono.
I am a maker member of the Japan Knife Guild.
I make knives that start with forge welding using wrought iron and ultra-mild steel for the bullion. In addition, I also make knives made of Damascus steel by folding and forge welding.
We accept orders for shapes, etc. while consulting.
Delivery time will be longer as I prioritize the training of disciples.
